Congrats to Nib Contributor Chelsea Saunders on her John Locher Memorial Award win!
The Locher award is given out each year to a cartoonist aged 18–25, whose work “demonstrates both clear opinions and strong artistry on political and social topics.” This year, they gave the honor to promising young talent Chelsea Saunders for her work on the Nib, saying she “uses clever formats, strong artistry, and a confident style to tell well-paced stories of crimes suffered by America’s minority communities.” Congrats Chelsea!
